San Carlos, California - July 15, 2006 - INTRESYS, technology providers of TurboCourt and EZLegalFile e-solutions for the courts and child support enforcement departments, announced today that the application for Child Support Services has been added to TurboCourt nationwide portal for the Department of Child Support Services, Contra Costa County, California. TurboCourt is a suite of Internet-based interactive forms preparation applications serving self-represented clients since 1999.
The Child Support Application for Service allows clients to quickly and easily prepare their forms for child support cases from the convenience of their homes or any facility with Internet access. It allows clients to open a child support case, establish paternity, request child support and medical orders from the court, enforce child and spousal support orders or modify child support orders.
"The non-aid application is a collection of forms that are lengthy and complex. Most often, applications turned in to our office are not complete or legible. This causes our staff to have to contact the custodial parent to gather more information. This turns into a time-consuming back and forth process that ultimately leads to frustration for all involved. It slows down the process of establishing and processing a case and affects the number of cases we can process over a given period of time. We look to TurboCourt to allow us to provide the custodial parent with easier and faster access to our services, while future enabling of the electronic filing option will further reduce processing delays and eliminate the need for scanning documents." states Ms. Peggy Hawkins, Chief Assistant Director, Contra Costa County Department of Child Support Services.
Our goals in utilizing TurboCourt are to reduce the time necessary to establish cases, process those cases faster, enable us to process more cases, and most importantly to help get child support to the family faster." Hawkins said.
Additionally, Mr. Steve Kimmelman, Program Manager of INTRESYS, commented that "As with all of our interactive forms applications, we've enhanced the final output by customizing forms and attachments to include more information than the DCSS Title IV-D standard forms can accommodate."
